Here’s a fun little flickr gallery of “transparent desktop screens”. Users take a picture of whatever lies directly behind their displays, crop them accordingly, set the picture as their new wallpaper, and take a picture of the whole set up. Ultimately a lot of time spent on something that only works if you don’t move the computer at all.

On prend le métro?

Entre deux heures de pointe ou entre deux stations, le métro, le seul endroit situé entre le boulot et le dodo…
Je me demande si je suis la seule a avoir la chienne quand je prends le metro tard le soir ou meme quand je marche dans les rues de la fine pointe-St-Charles seule jusqu'a mon appartement. Est-ce que je devrais ressentir cette peur?
Depuis quelques mois déjà j'observe une hausse de violence et d'intimidation dans le métro de montreal.. Il ne ce passe pas une semaine sans que je sois témoin d'un évènement désagréable sur les railles de ce fabuleux transport en commun.
Hier soir encore en revenant d'un resto j'ai vu une femme d'un certain age se faire appréhender en attendant le wagon. J'en avait assez, je suis donc intervenue. La dame m'a remercier et je pouvait sentir la peur dans ses yeux, ce regard m'a profondément perturbé, un regard que je n'oublierai pas, un regard qui va me servir.
J'en conclu ce matin que désormais je vais arreter d'avoir peur, effacé se regard d'impuissance et de vicime, et aller de l'avant, la tete haute. Car les fous du metro, comme j'aime les appeler s'en prennent pas au plus fous qu'eux...aux plus fous qui osent les affronter.

Just got back from Below the sea's and Mice Parade's (duo) sets, I thought I would be tired but I'm not..maybe cause I drank a bottle of energy booster and 2 beers..those little bootles works, don't be fooled by their size...
So, about the show....I always enjoyed Below The Sea live, with the projections that they display on the backwall..and what to say about Mice Parade, I was really amazed by those two guys, they had great chemestry together they totally let us forget about the 5 remaining peoples of the mice pack back in the U.S...
I had to get back before the last act, Sianspheric, I had to catch my bus and get to sleep early cause i'm working on saturday..:(..and thanks to that little bottle who looked sooo innofencive..i'm stuck in front of my computer screen..and I have to get up in five hours...
