Something like a Penomenon

There's was a miracle today in my neighborhood. A little gold Hindu Statue sipped spoons full of milk on and off during the day.
Back in 1995, a Hindu worshipper at a temple in south New Delhi made an offering of milk to a statue of Lord Ganesha. When a spoonful of milk from the bowl was held up to the trunk of the statue, the liquid was seen to disappear, apparently taken in by the idol. Word of the event spread quickly, and by mid-morning it was found that statues of the entire Hindu pantheon in temples all over North India were taking in milk. The world soon followed, Britain, Canada, Dubai, and Nepal were giving milk to the miraculous sculptures, with amazing success. The meaning of these thirsty statues? For Hindu religion it means that a great soul is born.
The statues refused to drink again until today, in my neighborhood and all over the world.
There's probably a scientific explanation for this phenomenon but I won't wait for an answer, I'm off to buy some milk before they run out of it. You damn milk drinkin statues! ;)

I'm always suspicious of religious experiences. To many charlatans. And as the buddhists say, if you see the Buddha, kill him.
