New Music

A while back in this space, I started, every week, introducing to you guys new sounds and new groups. Music is a big part of my life and helps me define who I am now, at this moment, in this world. If you see me in the subway, at the gym or grocery shopping there's a good chance that i'm plugged in, in my own Matrix.

From the far reaches of the fantastic cosmos, arrives Girl + the Machine, a magical music making combo. Girl + the Machine has been sent from the astounding year 3067 in order to restore peace and love to this peculiar galaxy succumbed by wicked times. The most lovely Girl programs her gallant Machine to unleash super powers during spectacular concerts and extra-terrestrial public performances. Dance and costume forged from a demension much more profound are eployed in order to perpetrate resounding positive vibrations amongst devote spiritual entities and attentive sentient beings. By daylight, Girl + the Machine assume non-descript identities in the suburbs of Toronto, disguised as humanoid automatons. To communicate thoughts and transcendent wisdom, Girl utilizes many humanoid languages, including: English, French, Mandarin, Japanese, and Portuguese. Girl can also program her Machine to transmit audible frequencies understood on other planets by countless biological, and non-biological life forms.
